FAQ’s

Can I use your photos on my site?

All my photos are taken by me and if you’d like to use them, please contact me for permission first.

Are all your recipes original?

Yes and no. I’ve been inspired by so many food blogs online. They all have such wonderful creative ideas on how to take food to the next level. I find myself feeding off their energy in many ways. I’m inspired by their unique recipes to take my own culinary risks, but sometimes, I adapt their recipes to fit my taste. Someone once said, “copying is the greatest form of flattery.” If I do chose to adapt a recipe by a fellow blogger, or cookbook, I always give credit where credit is due.

What is your favorite book?

If you read The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway  and didn’t get it, you weren’t ready for it. The Sun Also Rises is the greatest piece of literature ever written. Storytelling through writing began after it was published… is that dramatic enough for you? But really, it is an excellent piece of writing and I’m working on a recipe for it as I type… well not as I type, but very soon after. My birthday is April 29 so feel free to mail me the first edition publication if it. It’s only $3,600 on ebay. Ya know, chump change.

Are there any genres that you won’t discuss?

Though I have a fondness for creative nonfiction, this blog will explore every genre and style available. I will even try and force down a sci-fi novel for the sake of blogging!

Can I use your writings in Sprinkles on my website, magazine etc? How about entries from Reader’s Voice?

Writing is meant to be shared, so of course! But, please ask for permission first when it comes my my original writings in Sprinkles. As for any Reader’s Voice entries, that is up to the author. I keep records of all my Reader’s Voice winners and if you’d like to discuss publishing his or her work, I’d be more than happy to pass that contact information along to you.

Do you deliver?

I do! Well, if you live relatively close to Burlington County in South Jersey, that is. I have a overload of ideas and a plethora of flavors that I can cater to your party, or cupcake craving! If you’d like to place a custom order, please e-mail me, thebakerintherye@gmail.com.
